Salt Block Kitchen has chosen Purple Asparagus as the beneficiary of their upcoming Cooking for Causes Workshop: Farmer’s Market Mystery Produce!

Have you ever gone to a Farmer’s Market and come home with just tomatoes and cucumbers because some of the produce is unfamiliar?  Jayme O’Connell, founder of Salt Block Kitchen, will set out to the market in June to bring home the less common but totally amazing goodies and will prepare them with you at this workshop to expand your market mojo!  Expect to learn great ways to eat local, eat healthy, and do good all at the same time.  Workshop fee is $50 which the ticket price covers.  Participants will also be asked to make a $50 donation to Purple Asparagus at the event.
